About this site
This is free practice for Algebra 1 students at The Carmel School, to support classwork. It follows the chapters and lessons
of the Algebra 1 textbook used in class. Every problem gets new numbers each time, every answer is checked right away, and most
problems have a worked solution.
Your privacy
- No account, no sign-in, no ads and no tracking. Nothing you type or answer is sent over the internet. (If you open this page from a website, that website's host sees the visit, as with any web page.)
- Your name and your work are saved only in this browser, on this computer. Someone else using this computer and browser
could open your record from the “Who’s practicing?” screen.
- Your work leaves this computer only if you choose to: Save progress downloads a file, and you decide who to send it to.
The file holds your name and your practice record: which problems you did, when, how long each took, whether you got them right, and your quiz answers and scores. Nothing else.
- “Learn it” links open other websites (Khan Academy and OpenStax) in a new tab. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Saving your work
- Your work saves by itself after every answer, in this browser on this computer.
- It does not follow you to another computer. Clearing the browser’s data, or a school computer that resets when you sign
out, erases it.
- To keep a copy, or to move to another computer, open the menu with your name and press Save progress. On another
computer, choose Load my progress file on the opening screen.
- Send your saved file to your teacher the way they ask: attach it to an email, or turn it in on Google Classroom. The menu
with your name reminds you when it has been a week.
